Our Mission
Every day, Kenyans make high-stakes decisions — which bank to trust with savings, which college to invest years in, which lawyer to hire, which hospital to visit. Too often those decisions are made on hearsay, paid advertising, or no information at all.
Ranking Kenya was built to change that. We publish 75+ independent rankings, reviews and guides covering 565+ Kenyan businesses — researched by our editorial team, scored against transparent criteria, and updated as markets change.
How We Stay Independent
Independence is not a slogan here; it's a set of enforced rules:
- No pay-for-placement. A business cannot buy a position in any ranking, ever.
- Invited reviews stay ours. Businesses may invite us to review them, but they have no say in the verdict and cannot preview or edit our conclusions.
- Transparent criteria. Every ranking publishes the criteria and weightings used, so readers can check our work.
- Honest timestamps. The "last updated" date on our content changes only when the content actually changes.
